Project Coordinator – Decorating/ Soft Goods

The Project Coordinator is responsible for the back-office logistics associated with department projects, vendors, and resources. The Soft Goods department focuses on window treatments (Blinds and Drapery) ,  wallcoverings,   furniture (new and reupholstery) and other  decorative products and services for our projects.

Job Duties:

  • Provide administrative support to the Soft Goods Department.
  • Support communication to vendors and clients.
  • Purchasing.
    • Responsible for research, estimating, procurement and coordination of special-order products within soft goods
  • Coordinate and accept product deliveries and installations.
  • Maintain and update company catalogues and sample libraries both digital and tangible
  • Work along side other project coordinators on larger projects

Required

  • Ability to lift 25 lbs

Designer – Window Treatments / Soft Goods Specialist

The Window Treatment Specialist is responsible for focusing on selling design services and products for department projects. The Soft Goods department focuses on window treatments (Blinds and Drapery) ,  wallcoverings,   furniture (new and reupholstery)  and other decorative products/services for our projects.

Job Duties:

  • Work directly with clients to solve their window treatment needs and upsell other services and products.
  • Work alongside other designers on larger design projects
  • Gather field information needed to facilitate quoting
  • Conduct both in-store and in-home appointments
  • Responsible for developing and presenting design solutions to clients, closing sales and ordering products.
  • Maintain a pipeline of prospects
  • Participate in marketing initiatives as needed.

Associate Project Manager

  • Responsible for assisting with the overall performance and site conditions of the shop / client projects
  • Assist with scheduling and inspecting deliveries & pickups to ensure all materials are onsite when needed for install
  • Assist with purchasing and negotiating with vendors
  • Responsible for the coordination of all division product returns
  • Assist the Project Manager as needed
  • Visit project sites to evaluate job progress and respond to customer questions / concerns as directed
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure teams have the materials they need
  • Communicate with site foreman about delays and other issues that must be communicated to client as directed.
