What is an allowance?

Allowances are budgetary placeholders for materials within the remodeling scope of our agreement. It is shown as a range in the estimate to give the client an idea of the cost of finished materials.

Final cost will be determined based on client selections, supplier pricing, and material availability at the time of procurement.

Any materials not included in the stated allowances will be considered outside the scope of this agreement and will be addressed through a Change Order.

Any variance between the allowance amount and actual cost will result in a corresponding adjustment to the final cost of the project.

The allowances (finished materials) are invoiced on approval and ordered once paid.
